About Troy

I'm a writer/director from Brooklyn where I began my career as a production assistant on small film shoots, music videos and commercials in and around the city, and a graduate of the American Film Institute Conservatory's directing program in Los Angeles where I currently reside.

I've produced, written and directed several shorts films and commercial spec spots including an independently produced short 'The Buzzard', based on the New York Times magazine story. The Buzzard screened at several festivals in including the Beloit international Film festival, and the Hollywood Black festival and the Los Angeles Asians Pacific Film Festival to name a few.

Over the years I've held positions in varying capacities from development to marketing at production companies and studios such as NBC Universal, ABC and Disney, and I've also been involved in the production of long form television projects.

My current project "Intercept" was accepted into several 2020 web series/short form festivals including Seoul WebFest, Toronto International WebFest, Minnesota WebFest, Miami WebFest and The British Web Awards, where our series was nominated for best actor, best director, best screenplay and best web series in it's category and won for best cinematography.

I'm currently the CEO of EightEleven studios a tech/entertainment startup and working on development of several projects including season two of 'Intercept'
