About Fariborz

Fariborz Karimi is a Tehran based Theater maker. He has co-founded Bohemi theater group since 2011; With the production of Bohemi theater group, he has created different pieces and participated in International festivals such as “ITS festival Amsterdam”, “ITFoK festival in Kerala”, “ACT Festival in Bilbao”, “Bozar institute in Brussels; welcome to Tehran Project” and etc.
He is a founder of the first International independent theater residency in Iran “Theatricultural Exchange Residency” in 2017 that invites theater and performance artists from all around the world to exchange, discuss and share cultural backgrounds, works and methods with specific subjects.
Fariborz received his BA in Directing and Acting from the University of Tehran in Iran in 2014.
