About Anna

Anna Lewicke has been narrating documentaries and providing voice-overs for exhibits, commercials and other media for more than 20 years for such clients as the Smithsonian Institution, NASA, Harvard Medical School, Harvard Museum of Natural History, Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, Annenberg Media, Brigham & Women's Hospital and others.
Anna uses her many years of vocal training, and her innate artistic sense and verbal skills, to create the perfect recording for your documentary, medical film, exhibit, educational media or commercial recording needs. Clients and other artists have called her voice "elegant", "authoritative", "intelligent", "sensuous", ".. a voice like a soft breeze . . .".
In 2010, Anna produced/performed a pivotal backer narration for Stem Cell Growth, a biotech firm. A rush job, it required performance, editing & getting 500 copies to Chicago in record time. The CDs were waiting when the clients checked in.
In 2009, fine artist Susanna Stachura selected Anna to produce and provide narration for her art installation entitled "Angel's Dream", which was displayed as part of 2009's Michigan Art Prize competition. After many years of providing scientific and educational narrations, this departure opens an entirely new realm of narration to Anna, who is completely up to the task. Ms. Stachura was so moved by the recording she wrote "I'm crying. It is perfect! You are so wonderful! It is EXACTLY what I wanted . . . "
In 2007, Anna completed "The Habitable Planet" for Annenberg Media's learner.org. Produced by the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, "The Habitable Planet" is a landmark 13-DVD set addressing environmental issues around the world. Anna's voice ties it all together. Executive producer Alex Griswold said "You have done a very consistent and professional job every time, . . ."
In 2006, Anna was the choice to narrate "The Lighthouse of the Skies", a video history of the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, which has been on display at the Smithsonian Castle in Washington, DC.
In 2005, when Walter Cronkite was unable to fulfill a commitment to them, Anna was selected by the Harvard Museum of Natural History as his replacement to narrate an abridged version of a previous video for their exhibit, "Beyond Walden".
