Hello everyone hope all is well ,i would like to take this opportunity to share, and ask for some advice , i am one of those guys that told my self i would like to write a book some day, and 20 yrs ago i started it, well after 4.5 yrs of retirement its finished. i'am not a creative and know nothing about the movie or T.V. business, i stumbled in to doing some extra work, while living in studio city, and have enjoyed doing some radio work in my home town. and of course the only people that have seen my script are friends, and family that have nothing but good things to say, i even have one that just pretended to read it, and still told me how good it was. i have done a little networking to see if i could make a trailer but nothing has come of that to date. i think i have the makings of a T.V. series but have no way of marketing it to the right people, in fact i'am not so sure i would know the right people,if they walked up to me and slapped me in the face .Ha!! am i new to this or what ?.i have fallen off track, and would like to begin writing #2 , or the follow up to my story . i love to write, and telling story's that people want to hear, to me is an art form like no other, let it be painting, acting, music, etc i would do this regardless of the outcome i'am not expecting for things to happen overnight ,in fact i have met, and talked too, some wonderful, and hard working talent, on 32, that have been at this a lot longer then me, but i would like to have a shot if in fact i get the chance, what's next, where,who, when, how , at ' 60 ' i don't want to go back to school !! looking back i wish i had done something in this business 40 yrs ago, but i didn't, and that was then, and this is now !!. well that's my story, and i'am sticking too it... any advice, would be truly welcome P.S. please be kind !
