When reckless toy CEO Kris Kringle III automates Christmas to focus on his extravagant lifestyle, he falls hard for a struggling local toy shop owner, only to discover his time-saving workaround may just put her out of business.

SANTA AI is a high-concept Christmas Romantic Comedy feature film intended for theatrical release, which has elements of YOU’VE GOT MAIL meets ABOUT A BOY.

It’s the story of Kris Kringle the 3rd, a drop-dead gorgeous, tech-obsessed billionaire playboy and Santa Claus’s only son. His mission is to change how KRINGLE, INC., is run because he never got to see his parents as a child and doesn’t want to follow in his father’s footsteps. He believes that he can accomplish that with technology. Kris and his best friend Roy are like Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak, with Kris being the innovator and Roy being the technical one. They have developed a new AI program that is designed to automate businesses, and Kris plans to install it at the North Pole in a few years, when it’s ready. When Santa retires early moves to an island in the Caribbean with Kris’s mom, the business is thrust on Kris earlier than expected.

Kris and Roy install the program in Santa’s workshop. Kris returns to Los Angeles so he can continue his lifestyle there and oversee the corporate side of things. But he meets Amelia, an independent toy maker and owner of a small toy store that Kringle, INC. has directly hurt. He is attracted to her immediately and she has the most adorable daughter, 8-year-old Beatrice. Kris and Beatrice hit it off instantly as she thinks he is super cool, and she knows his secret-he is Santa! Amelia and Kris begin a real friendship, something Kris never does with women he is interested in. Things at the North Pole start to deteriorate because Roy is unfamiliar with the business, and they have given the AI no directions. The AI puts everyone on the naughty list, stops making toys, and sends coal to stores instead. In response to this, stores all over the world shut down, and a snowball effect happens.

Amelia's handmade toy business and shop begin to boom, and she can barely keep up with the demand, so Kris does something that he thinks will help her. He takes some of her designs and tells the AI to mass-produce them, and it does, but they are a mess, and Amelia gets angry with him. He decides to use the magic of Christmas to stop time in an attempt to fix it, but it backfires with Amelia, and she tells him to leave her and Beatrice alone. Kris ends up back at the North Pole, where it’s pandemonium with misfit toys running around. Total chaos. Kris, realizing that he is the only one who can change the course of events, works with his father, Roy, and the AI to restore everything. But there is only one problem. Santa tells him that Christmas is still canceled because Kris used the Spirit of Christmas magic, which can only be used once a year. Kris, having learned to be accountable, goes to tell Beatrice that he failed her. She says it’s okay, and she LOVES HIM. Just like that, time stops, and Santa shows up with a sleigh filled with presents, as Kris has just received the truest form of unconditional love, the love of a child. Amelia forgives him, and the spirit of Christmas is restored, and Christmas is saved
