1. EXT. UPPER MIDDLE CLASS NEIGHBORHOOD – SUN RISE The Sun is rising, over the horizon and just coming up over the rooftops in the neighborhood NARRATION Change does not happen over night. Some people think change only happens when you want it to, you know …like the light bulb. But if necessary it will eat you from the inside out over a course of a lifetime. There are things in life that will force you to change, sometimes those events are catastrophic… and sometimes they are just as simple as the shock of seeing a man in the mirror that has become a stranger even though you see him day after day. You’re the man I am looking back at in the mirror; I do not recognize you anymore either. I feel as if you’ve left me for dead someplace back in time on a road of your insecurities and indecisions. While I have had to listen to the stories of your shortcomings, regrets and victimizations I have been watching you and clearly your behavior has taken us to a place neither of us want to be. I have been waiting for you all this time. As far back as I can remember I have been waiting and we cannot wait any longer.
