WGA writer. Former assistant to John Wells (ER, WEST WING, SOUTHLAND, SHAMELESS) and David Mandel (SNL, SEINFELD, CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM, VEEP). MSc in Social Psychology from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and a PhD in Communication from USC Annenberg. Life experience includes being an Army brat in Alaska before dad decided to leave for Russia, living with her single mom and little sister in Georgia on $12k/year, and rejecting her parents' Religious Right teachings to instead work for the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation, Change.org, Advocates for Youth (safe sex education, gasp!), and Democratic political candidates. Further disappointing her folks, she also served as a Coastal Liberal Elite University Professor™ and authored the #MeToo-inspired children's book C IS FOR CONSENT, a Kickstarter success story currently in its eighth printing. She's drawn to diverse scripts about likable queer women finding their footing, but her last job was writing for a blindingly white limited series about an overly confident straight male anti-hero, so she's adaptable. Lives in Los Angeles with her husband, two young kids, and a cat named after Carrie Mathison.
