Born in Springfield, Missouri Raised in Brussels, Belgium and Dallas Texas to American parents. Mom from Tulsa, OK, Dad from Danbury,CT Dad was a minister and Bible scholar Mom writes women's books on prayer Completed Architecture School w/ B Arch - Tulane University, New Orleans and Pratt Institute, Brooklyn. Began career as Art Director @ Mtv, personal assistant to painter George Condo, designed events for legendary event producer and superflorist Robert Isabell (who Garlock sites as being "the first to see in me what I felt made me special. He gave me a chance to show my ideas on how to transform space in ways that sounded outrageous and extravagant to everyone else!
