Naveed Ahmed

I landed my first role in a short film called Tainted Love in 2013 without any training or experience and received loads of positive feedback from the writer, directors, crew and professional actors who were also on the project. I feel I did so well because I already had the confidence to take on certain roles & in time when I become a more skilled actor I will be able to take on any role. I'm quite a deep thinker & find it easy to emphasize with people & what they are going through & often try to think of things from the view point of other people when making decisions in my personal life so am quite often putting myself in other people shoes to see how my decisions can effect or will seem to other people. Since the movie I enrolled myself at the prestigious Birmingham School of Acting and on to the Performance Certificate Course which required auditions for suitability to be assessed. Although I am not actively pursuing such work and have declined the opportunity for more I have also done supporting artist work for the BBC called Doctors and another called By any Means which is made by the producers of Hustle. I've also broke into modeling and am currently in talks with a model management agency called Diamond Kiss. I have already done a couple of fashion shows and was chosen to take the stage with both the designers I modeled for at the end of the collection at the FabAfriq Music & Fashion Show. However my passion is acting and is what I am interested in pursuing.
