SYNOPSIS:

Series Jesse, an extraordinary track star, walks with his friend Bobby to his East LA home. As they enter, Bobby's gangster brothers seem prepared for war, but the two brush it off and head into the bedroom. An hour later, the house is randomly bombarded by an array of bullets. Jesse is able to escape unharmed and unseen, not able to see who the attackers are. Panicked, he runs straight miles away and never looks back. Months later, after mourning the loss of his friend and a police report labeling the event as gang related, Jesse's coach introduces him to a mysterious man claiming to be an olympic recruit.
