About Darren

I am a UK-based writer of screenplays for both television and motion picture. I write because I want to write -- it’s what I enjoy, and it has been a great passion in my life for as long as I can remember. I am fastidious and obsessive about my writing, with a 100% devotion to my characters and their situations. I gravitate heavily toward sci-fi, but have been known to dabble in the occasional horror or rom-com. I hate writing loglines!

Currently managed by Jeff Ross Entertainment, my sci-fi script 'Arena' is under option to Gold Circle Films and was previously optioned at Summit Entertainment. I have worked with producers in Los Angeles and Brisbane, and am currently working with a UK-based production company to develop my latest script 'Easy Money'.
