About Eric
After earning a bachelor's degree in Film and Television from the University of Wisconsin, Eric made his way to Los Angeles, where he studied improv and sketch comedy at Second City and ImprovOlympic. Screenwriting soon became his passion and he hasn't stopped writing since. Working primarily in the Sci-fi/Fantasy and Horror genres, he loves digging into structure and infusing a bit of adventure and humor into all of his projects.
A number of his screenplays have done well on the contest circuit - THE DEVIL'S FOOTPRINTS won ScreenCraft's Horror Contest, SAVE THE PRINCESS was a top 10 Finalist in Stage 32's Fantasy and Sci-Fi contest, and AVALANCHE recently won Stage 32's Feature Screenwriting Contest and was a top 5 Finalist in Final Draft's Big Break.
