About Tracy

I began writing screenplays five years ago when I took a creative writing course and “something clicked” in the screenwriting module of the course. Finding a way to connect my background in advertising, interest in writing, wild imagination, and love of cinema, I spent two years taking screenwriting classes and the result was my first screenplay, Lucy in London, a family script. In 2013, Lucy in London won the Chicago Screenwriters Network contest in the family film genre and was a top-13 finalist in Scriptapalooza, a second-rounder in the Austin Film Festival and a semi-finalist in Page International.

Now I have completed five screenplays and placed well in several competitions. I just started marketing myself and my writing. I write everyday, takes loads of classes, and juggle being a wife and mother (two teenage girls!)

Prior to writing screenplays, Tracy had a long career in advertising and marketing.
