Oleg Geraskin

Graduated from St Petersburg Theatre Institute in 1987
Worked in a few Moscow studio theatres.
1990-94 Moscow Sibilyov Studio. (see more in no.3, volume 12, spring 92 of 'Slavic and East European Perfomance' US/NY CASTA, Instutite for Contemporary Easten European Drama and Theatre, an article by John Freedman 'Recreating a Tradition: Moscow Sibilyov Studio'.
Unfortunately, this studio no longer exists.
I played there a whole variety of parts in performances after Chekov, Bunin, Makkiavelli, Shakespear, Moulier, etc.
Since then I have been acting in TV films and movies.
Nowadays I present a poetic performance after Russian poets of Silver Era and as a director and a lead work on a contemporary Russian dramatist Peter Gladilin’s play “Someone else”.
