About Adolfo

Adolfo Espina is an actor, singer, writer and voice actor born in Gijón (Asturias) Spain, trained as actor at Shakespeare foundation of Spain (Madrid). Since 2004 he has performed different roles in theatre, musical theatre, feature movies, tv series and short films.

Regarding his experience as a screenwriter, Adolfo's professional career as a writer began with the translation and adaptation into Spanish of the screenplay "The skin of the drum", a film based on a novel by Arturo Pérez-Reverte. Recently, he has just finished his first film script entitled 'Lezo, the movie' of which you can find the elevator pitch in the corresponding section (Logline). Originally written in Spanish, the script is currently being translated into English. In his own words...'Great men and women have always fascinated us. Some of them already live in the Olympus of cinema forever, others, simply need to be rescued in order to be taken there'.

Based on real events, Lezo is a cross between Master and Commander and The Alamo!
