About Marcio

Marcio Rosario, Brazilian actor, director & producer began his acting career at the age of 4 and on regional theater company in Santos. During his adolescence participated in several plays in Brazil. At the age of 12, he made his film debut in the film "O Amor Uniu Dois Corazones" directed by Wilson Rodrigues.

In 1992 the actor moves to the United States to study at the renowned American Film Institute where he graduated as Executive Producer.

At age 21 he worked with acclaimed Romanian director Pouran Deherrkian in the film Bitterland. Following this project the actor was invited by Japanese director Takashi Miike, named by Time Magazine, as one of the top 10 out of the Hollywood circuit, to join the casting of The City Of The Lost Souls. In addition to these works, Marcio was also hired by Mexican director Jackie Torres for The Price of the North. Marcio has participated in many major international productions as: The Expendables, Collateral Damage, The Scorpion King, The Thin Red Line, Fight Club, The General's Daughter, Galaxy Quest, Next Best Thing, among others. Brazilian Films are also in his resume: Rio Eu Te Amo, (Rio I Love You) in the segment "Texas" directed by acclaimed director Guillermo Arriaga and recently worked on the awarded and acclaimed film "Desert".

In TV, Rosario was the hit "soap opera", Days Of Our Lives, in the paper of the official Santos. for 2 years. In 2005 he was invited to return to Brazil to work on Belíssima, a Brazilian Soap Opera by Silvio De Abreu on TV GLOBO.

Since then he has participated in countless projects on Rede Globo such as Flor do Caribe, Charmed Floats, Araguaia, The Prophet, Foot in Jaca, Snakes and Lizards, Rising Sun, Fitness, Double Identity, Supermax and recently worked in the popular character "Bazunga" the children's on I LOVE Paraisópolis, at TV GLOBO.

At the Beverly Hills Playhouse in Los Angeles, he studied Meisner's Technique for three years, one of the most renowned acting schools in Hollywood.

Marcio Rosario, created a Tres Tons Visuais, a Brazilian film company and as a producer has over 12 national and international awards with his shorts films: The Flirt, Empty, Sign and Living Again.

In Theater directed in 2017, the successful LGBT, Bruta Flor , (Gross Flower).

Currently, he develops three movie projects: Santa Connection, Bad Adolescence and Syndrome.
