About Jean

As writer-director, I currently have two ongoing feature projects. Late Splitters, a dark tale about the bond between twin girls, is in early development (treatment available), and the feature documentary, Identical, is in production. As a twin myself, I have spent five years interviewing identical twins and asking questions about identity. The result is an innovative, challenging project which breaks down the stereotypes and myths surrounding twins and probes below the surface and raises some fascinating questions about self.

As a director, I am known for my experience with children and contributors not used to being on camera, creating supportive environments where everyone feels comfortable to deliver their best and most natural performance.

Unique traits: I have a background in Fine Art and produce work across multi-media and photography. Much of my installation work involves creating sets and world-building, where I create visual worlds to convey a story without words. I bring this approach to my filmmaking.
