Scott Myers

Soooo, I was born in Cleve., OH in the year 1956. Now that you realize how bloody old I am, let me tell you that I grew up in Cleve. Hts, OH, went to college at Syracuse Univ graduating cum laude in 1978 with a Bach Music degree in Percussion Performance with minors in piano and conducting. I learned how to play flute, clar, cello in addition to my playing sax (since 5th grade). I was accepted into the Masters Music Industry program and spent 1 year of classes while interning for the Syracuse Symphony Orchestra.
While "interning" for the band, I had the opportunity to perform at Carnegie Hall and earn enough recording credits to become a voting member of The Recording - Grammys, which I vote for the awards, currently. After 1 year, 1979, in Grad. School, I changed my snowcoat for the sun of Los Angeles to try to get into the recording business as a session musician or other neat gig. After only 6 months, I secured an opportunity to relocate once again to the wilds of Okc., OK as Librarian/Percussionist for the (then) professional ensemble Ok Symphony Orchestra. I got promoted to Operations Director. After 6 years, I married my current mate, a local professional actress/director. I created a theater which is still operating some 35 years after I started it in a warehouse with bar.
