About Betty
Bi-coastal LA & DC. Mother of seven, business owner , spent a good part of my life helping the down trodden and homeless in the US and Mexico. Always wanted to write even though I don't always know when to use a comma. Won Happy Writers Feature Screenplay Contest in 2014. Finalist at Westdoc for reality sizzle. One of the producers on Endgame starting Rico Rodriguez (sweet kid with a lovely family) and Efren Ramirez (always funny) and Table Manners which I wrote. Currently working on scripts with different producers. Hoping to write my first book in the next year. I write true story adaptations and some comedy. Above all, grateful. Wouldn't have made it this far without gracious mentoring from some of LA's finest. Joey Tuccio, Tiffany Boyle, Garrick Dion, Erik Bork, Ellen Sandler, Jenna Nicholson and many more.
