About Sidney

Most of my my writing career has focused on novels. A list of my titles can be found here: =cm_lm_byauthor_title_full

My horror and suspense novels, originally published by Kensington Books under the Pinnacle imprint, include Blood Hunter, Gnelfs, When Darkness Falls and others. I am now published by Crossroad Press, and my most recent book is a Louisiana-based serial-killer thriller, Midnight Eyes.

I have also written comics scripts including the graphic novel The Dusk Society.

I began an awkward dance with Hollywood about a year ago when one of my novels was optioned by a veteran producer for a pitch as a cable TV movie. That fell through but led me to discussions with agents, and that led me to write a contained thriller spec script. While the agent dance continues, I'm writing a novel based on that script.

I appear as a background actor, playing a lawyer, in the Matthew Broderick film "Wonderful World."

I also teach creative writing with a focus on horror, mystery and suspense.
