Robert Lawrence Nelson

Robert’s play, SWEET PEA’S MAMA, was selected to be a part of the Great Plains Theatre Conference in 2012. It was also a winner of the Hudson Valley Playwrights Reading Series (curated by Jane Dubin, six time Tony winner). His play, BILLY, was part of the Living Room Series at the Blank Theatre (Los Angeles). His play, THE MAN, received a public reading at the Jewish Ensemble Theater (West Bloomfield, MI). As a screenwriter, Robert has had several screenplays optioned. His screenplay, I AIN’T NO DUMMY, won the Cinestory Screenwriting Award.
