About Anthony

I continue to spend my time creating and developing new television and film content while working on network television shows, independent films, and web content material. With almost 15 years of training and experience, I intend to put all of my knowledge to use, creating a successful career and opportunity for me and others all while creating unique films that stick in the minds of everyone that sees them.

A native born and raised in Little Rock, Arkansas, I have always had a firm grip on the idea of what I wanted to do with the rest of my life. At the age of ten, I began writing music and participating in church programs, community plays, and several activities in school. Once I migrated into high school, I took on any and every opportunity I could, gaining experience and as much training as possible as an actor. After years of honing my craft and proving myself to those in my high school theater department, my theater instructor provided guidance with my initiative in developing new theater projects, putting into action my writing skills, and thus beginning my directing and producing talents. After attending the prestigious Arkansas Governor’s School in 2005 in the area of theater, I found the confidence and knowledge needed to succeed in the entertainment industry. Upon finishing high school, I directed about five productions and produced over fifteen, some of which gained international attention, resulting in the honor of performing at the International Fringe Festival in Edinburgh, Scotland in 2006.

After performing a few years of professional theater at the critically acclaimed Arkansas Repertory Theater and the off-Broadway Weekend Theater, I made the decision to migrate over into film. In 2008, I took a giant leap of faith by selling everything I owned and moving out to Los Angeles with just my clothes, laptop, and the money in my pocket in attempts to assist a group of individuals in starting an independent film company. It was there that I continued writing, but also officially added the titles of director and producer to my name. I brought many projects into the development stages, but after seven months of trial and error, that company’s launch was unsuccessful. I took everything I’d learned from that experience and relocated to North Carolina where I continued my hands-on involvement in film. After experiencing the west coast and finding that the film industry lacked the touch of originality and drive it was once known for, I began to put action into motion, shortly after, successfully creating Second Glance Productions in 2009. I have since decided to use Second Glance Productions as a platform to produce original content that others are afraid of producing, creatively presenting subjects that most are afraid of discussing, and tastefully pushing the boundaries in its content causing its viewers to enjoy what they see at first glance, but think about and discuss its issues upon second glance.
