About Michael
At an early age Michael Alan Smith had a passion for film and a knack of creative writing. He enjoyed creating new worlds, new characters, new situations to put his characters in. "I have always been partial to the flawed character. Let's face it, nobody is perfect and that certainly rings true for my characters such as the ones in my drama project "Elpi Dixon", I certainly never thought of a story or character that would go well in a children's book." Mike never had any formal training. He has self taught myself about the business from writing, to filming, to editing. In 2010 Michael spent $20,000 and bought himself his own film rig & in 2011 has joined forces with his best friend, multi talented voice over talent Michael Kaminski and formed a production company. They are currently developing their first short film.
