I am a creative, adventures and worldly person with a broad set of skills and experiences. I am a positive person, who shows initiative, responsibility and independence. I am good at reasoning, organising and have a great eye for detail.
My work experience has arranged from being a personal assistant, doing creative work as a designer to adventure tourism. Apart from my home country of Iceland, I have lived, worked and studied in England, Spain, Italy, Sweden, Norway and India. The experience of living in different countries and cultures has broadened my perspective of the world and enriched my life in a way that has only been beneficial to me and made me the person I am today.
I am an outdoor enthusiast and a search and rescue volunteer member of ICE-SAR, and I am honoured to be a part of their organisation and count it as a precious experience. It has taught me the value of maturity, responsibility, dependability, teamwork and leadership, which are skills that I bring with me to any work environment.
I am currently using my creative skills in writing novels, short stories and screenplays. I also dabble in blogging and journalism, but I write for and edit, the journal of political science at the University of Iceland. Being a cancer survivor, I am as well a member of the editorial staff for Kraftur Cancer, an association for young people diagnosed with cancer.
As a guide, designer and a writer, I love telling stories and provoking emotions or stimulating imagination. I feel details are significant to acquire the perfect overall vision and therefore I always put much work into my research. I love reading about history, culture, traditions, religion, politics, philosophy, style and other things that might be useful in my creative process.
