About Micah

Micah Houston is the Vice President of Magick Music a production subsidiary of Magick Blyss Entertainment. He has been performing in music and entertainment for over 8 years. He attended Boston Arts Academy School of performing arts majoring in Theater, Dance, and audio production. He participated in master classes with Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Quincy Jones and a master workshop with Bill T. Jones expanding his knowledge of music and performance on stage and in film. He has even performed at the famous Apollo Theater in New York City. Micah has worked in production engineering for 10 years, working in studios throughout the east coast. Micah was also one of the leading advisers and executives of Sidestreet Dance Company alongside Russell Ferguson winner of the hit FOX television series "So you think you can dance" season 6. Tru which his name was given to represent his honesty and loyalty in all walks of life; is one of a kind. Aside from producing he aspired to gain experience from various forms in the Arts entertainment, the Beat, the Melody, and the Song. He grew up developing his craft off of influences such as Stevie Wonder, Luther Vandross, Jackie Wilson Boyz2men, and Brian Mcknight recreating his own lyrical and rhythmic flows. His most greatest musical influences are Hans Zimmerman, Quincy Jones, Timbaland and Dr. Dre. Tru focuses his musical talents and expertise on singing, writing, and developing, and orchestrating music through his talents in order to create new forms of sound.

Unique traits: Have 3 sets of Beauty marks one on my heart and the other two on my wrists that are the exact shape of a constellation of stars!!
