In 2003, New York based Ozzie returned to the acting arena, studying under Lee Brock and Seth Barrish at The Barrow Group, to whom she gives great credit. Some of her credits are in Off-Off-Broadway plays such as ‘Sonnets of an Old Century’ by Obie award winning playwright, Jose Rivera, writer of ‘The Motorcycle Diaries’, ‘Unveilings’ by award winning prolific playwright, P. J. Gibson. Ozzie soon began producing Off-Off-Broadway plays such as ‘Blues in a Broken Tongue’ in 2006, ‘Legends’ and a special tribute to esteemed playwright August Wilson with Obie Award Winner and Tony Nominated playwright Leslie Lee with talented legends such as the great Anthony Chisolm (Drama Desk Award Winner); Lilias White (Tony Award Winner). In 2012, Ozzie performed in a lead role in the play ‘Birmingham Reunion’ which is being geared towards the Broadway circuit, and was Production Assistant to Tom Donahue’s magnificently historic documentary, Casting By, with interviews by some of the most famous stars: Robert De Niro, Clint Eastwood, Robert Redford, John Travolta and more, which is presently receiving rave reviews from the Hollywood Press and Oscar buzz, as a game changer, a piece of history.
Ozzie has commercial credits such as: Charles Shwab (soon to be released), Cheerios(in September 2013, on national TV/Cable), Emeril Live, ESPN, Kashi, INTEL, voiceovers and print for Bayer, Fosomax and more, even gaining her own billboard. She was featured in Focus Feature’s ‘Pariah,’ directed by the award winning Dee Rees. She was featured in Backstage for her role in the film ‘Beautiful Jones’. Ozzie’s latest film project ‘Egress’ is in post production. Ozzie’s reel can be seen on IMDb. She is also an OSCE actor, helping in the training of doctors in their relationships with their patients, through major enacted crisis scenarios at hospitals, clinics and training videos, appearing on television stations.
