Abdool Laltaprasad is a New York based filmmaker. With a degree in Screenwriting from the School Of Visual Arts, Abdool has spent the past five years working on both commercial and narrative projects. His body of work spans the gambit of smaller character pieces like his most recent short film “Rum,” which was featured on PBS, to larger narrative feature film projects like “The Sum Of One” which won Best Achievement in Screenwriting at the School Of Visual Art's Dusty Film Festival. He is a firm believer that powerful story telling is the “it” factor in film. He is constantly striving to enrich his audience with strong and unique pieces. His voice is his alone and he aspires to make films that celebrate and connect people from all walks of life.
