SYNOPSIS:

Cheated by his boss Wilbur and let down by his wife Rachel, Arlen is a disenchanted ice-cream vendor who sets out to change his destiny by driving Yousef, his dying father-in-law, across Europe and back home to Gaza. The trouble starts when Arlen inadvertently upsets the ice-cream mafia. Although he doesn’t know Wilbur has been forced to sell the business, the stage is set for a road movie where events can only get worse and Arlen can finally grow up and realise what he truly values in life. Forced to set off in a hurry, Arlen and Yousef hit the road in an old ice-cream van. As events unfold Arlen realises his boss was laundering money and a large sum has gone missing. As everything he knows crumbles around him, he's confronted by his past and finds the strength to forgive and start again.
