Brent has been producing and directing award winning productions for broadcast, cable and corporate television for over 30 years. He also has produced countless major corporate events around the country. Corporate clients include Best Buy, Medtronic, Mayo Clinic, Widex Hearing Aids, Andersen Window and Doors, Syngenta, Thomson Reuters, Boston Scientific, and Reliastar. His work has involved extensive travel both in this country and internationally.

Brent has contributed to local, regional and national productions for KTCA-TV (PBS), KSTP-TV (ABC), WCCO-TV (CBS), KTCI-TV (PBS), WHA-TV (PBS) PBS Network, Minnesota Public TV, and the Local Programming Network. He completed producing, directing, writing and hosting a 13 part series for cable network HGTV called Dream House. He also produced, directed and wrote and a 10 part educational series for PBS stations: Meanings of Place that explored the environments we all live and work in. Both series involved extensive contacts with Architects, Interior Designers, and Decorators.

Brent has been active in the non-profit community as well. He is the co-founder of Screenwriters Workshop, and has served as a broad member and president of Independent Feature Project North. Brent has also made several pro bono videos for community organizations and non-profits including Valley Outreach and Cancer Legal Line.
