Evandro Cruz, CAMERA OPERATOR, AND LOCAL FIXER BASED IN BRAZIL, I’ve been working on VIDEO PRODUCTION for more than 20 years. Born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, I've started to shoot in the 1990s as a still photographer (4×5′), and photojournalist (35mm). Since 1997, I have worked first as EDITOR and later as CAMERA OPERATOR on documentaries, commercials, political campaigns and corporate videos, in both video and film (16mm). I’m ENGLISH, SPANISH AND PORTUGUESE speaking and have been helping video crews and other clients from abroad in Brazil as LOCAL FIXER, CAMERA OPERATOR, and EDITOR for more than 15 years. I’m registered at ANCINE, the Brazilian National Cinema Agency and also a registered Journalist. Among my latest major jobs are the 2014 FIFA World Cup for the Qatar Government delegation in Rio de Janeiro and the Sailing competitions of the Olympic Games Rio2016 for the Olympic News Channel, OBS.
