I was born in 1985 in Macedonia, and grew up in a small town in the mountains. My father was involved in politics just after the breakup of Yugoslavia, and while growing up I had the opportunity to witness the absurdities of a changing small town society. As a teenager I was painting and drawing comic books. By the age of eighteen, I wrote a Sci-Fi novel, that was published an year later. My first short documentary, "NOTHING IN THE AIR", a film about alien encounters in a remote village in Macedonia, was nominated at Sofia International Film Festival. My graduate project, an experimental surreal drama called "KINDER SURPRISE" was awarded with the audience award at SIFF, and selected at renowned international film festivals. My last project "SHHH.. SING TO ME!", inspired by the so-called Bulgarian pop-folk culture, turned out to be a provocative film that created a phenomenal public interest. Currently, I am working on the development of a comedy TV show and my first feature film.
