JOHN J LINDSLEY X Production Designer // Art Director, Actor + Film-maker

John’s background combines academic and creative pursuits in a variety of mediums. An interest in the arts began with classical training in performance art at The Arts Educational, and through the Royal Academy of Dance and Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music. John has gone on to act and perform in a variety of capacities; as a DJ, in TV and stage, as well as managing and promoting up-and-coming musicians under the Le Tuckshop and The Racket monikers.

Having initially read Education with Philosophy, John went on to study at the leading University of London’s Institute of Education, reading MA Philosophy of Education and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education, subsequently teaching Humanities subject disciplines to inner-city students up to A Level.

To amalgamate an avid passion for writing, philosophy, photography, art, design, film, music, and the power of narrative, John attended Central Saint Martins, training in Art Direction (specialising in film), with the intention to continue conveying and successfully unifying creative vision.
