LOGLINE:

An ex-marine and a hired gun form an unlikely alliance when they find themselves on the run from two crime syndicates and the FBI.

SYNOPSIS:

Vindictive" is written along the lines of shows with a tone such as "Black List" and "The Punisher". The series is about a dishonorable discharged Marine, Uriah Mason that is released from prison after serving five years for dereliction of duty. In the pilot, you enter the lives of the “The Good” “The Bad” and “The Ugly”. In this series “The Good” is Uriah Mason, he finds it difficult adjusting back to civilization even though he's greeted with smiles and the loving warmth of his family upon his release, the country he used to protect greets him with frowns and cold stares as he struggles to make up for lost time while moving forward with his life. Mason reports to his insolent of a parole officer that threatens to violate him for any and everything, especially if he doesn’t find employment within a month.

Mason tirelessly fills out job applications and is rejected repeatedly due to his dishonorable status. The light at the end of the tunnel seems to fade away fast and to make matters worse, Mason has brought home demons of his past that he secretly tries to keep under control.

On the other side of the coin, we have “The Bad” which is Dominic Monroe, a man who has made a career out of killing people for money and executing bank heists. Now the aging veteran hired-gun is looking to get out of the life and start a new one that won’t involve blood on his hands. Much like his targets, getting out of his situation proved to be a little bit more difficult than anticipated. After a botched heist that was set up to be his last payday, Dominic finds himself consumed by desperation by taking any job that will keep him afloat. With jobs becoming scarce and old foes on his trail, Dominic must survive the retaliation of his last employer nephew, which had his uncle looking down the barrel of Dominic’s gun.

In the underbelly of society, we have “The Ugly” which consists of various Crime Organizations that are held together by the Chancellor of the Crime Syndicates, he arranges a meeting to keep peace with each other, but two of the families cannot agree on terms. Fallout ensues between the Japanese and Russians. With egos and testosterone pumping, everyone has something to prove and a position to gain by taking out the Japanese, which has a stronghold on the city. Backstabbing, lies, and betrayal will set the city ablaze in the revelations of “Vindictive”.
