dAbO started singing in church youth programmes in Shinyanga on 1990’s.
He waited for too long to release his first single on TV stations in Tanzania known as Policeman which didn’t make a huge impact but atleast it made an introduction to few people on 2007/8 season.
Then after, dAbO changed his music style from roots reggae to sweet reggae and dancehall which started to make impact when he moved up to collaborate with a young star artist in Tanzania known by the name Mwasity and released a song called “don’t let I go” on March 2009 which made a huge surprise comeback to viewers and listeners in East Africa and gifted him to become one of the known artist.
dAbO stopped releasing songs until November 2009 when he went forward to drop another single “sitaki pendwa nawe” after completing his high learning institution education at Institute of Finance Management in Dar es Salaam but he decided to stop that track one month later.
He was on fire with a hit single called “African Girl” for the year 2010 currently in rotation in radio stations and Televisions and he’s ready to complete his album, and the first time dAbO was named as a contester of best reggae song of the year in Tanzania Kilimanjaro music awards 2010.
In 2011 dAbO himself puts more force to complete his first album and release more songs to promote his first album. On fire with Ganjaman as a new video on 2011 made by Passionate Films a Company which he owns.
In 2012 dAbO again was a nominee in Kilimanjaro Tanzania music award for Best Ragga Song Category and he's glad he's about to meet his highest expectations to penetrate all over the world.
In 2013 the Musician was named the Best Ragga Artist in Tanzania by receiving the award in Kilimanjaro Music Awards as a Best Ragga Singer and hoping More to Come from him.
