Thomson Carr is a time traveler for hire. For forty years he has stolen from the past and sold to the wealthy of the future. But one mans desire for something he can't have will propel Thomson back to seek the help of the one person in the world he can truly trust, his younger self.

SYNOPSIS:

Thomson Carr is a time traveler, and his time has just run out. On the run from 2065, Thomson heads back to request the help of the only person he can count on: his younger self. Once safely in the year 2020 Thomson sets about recruiting a team that will ensure the timeline establishes itself as he remembers. Firstly he and his younger self must locate Zara. Lifelong friend of Thomson and art historian, Zara will help Thomson and Tom (his younger self) establish 'The Market'. The Market travel through time “obtaining” priceless artifacts for wealthy clients. With Zara's knowledge of art history they can target the items history records as ‘mysteriously’ disappeared. Once Zara has joined the ranks the three proceed to track down the remaining members of Thomson's team. The Twins, Drew and Taylor Gavin; two adrenalin junkies, are brought on-board for their mechanical expertise, and their willingness to go that bit further. One owes Thomson a debt that can never be repaid. Nolan. Former SAS and bodyguard to royalty, Nolan is recruited by Thomson and Tom in 1997. His main objective; prepare the team in self-defense and weapons handling. Nolan is haunted by a mistake made years before that cost the life of someone dear to him. He desperately wants to undo this mistake and gradually his desires align with those of the man who put the price on Thomson’s head; Martin Towns. In 2065 Martin Towns is a multimedia mogul. He has been a long time client of The Market, but the one thing he wants they can't allow. In a last ditch effort to gain control of Thomson's time travel device, Towns has Thomson poisoned. But much to his chagrin, Thomson remains one step ahead of him, and escapes, leaving Towns’ hopes in tatters. Until a mysterious visitor helps him put in motion a plan that could unravel the timeline as we know it. As they travel through time, The Market lead by Thomson, have to make sure certain events play out correctly and prevent other events from derailing the time line. They are present for some of the 20th century’s most iconic moments, impacting events in 1947, 1963, 1997 and one very significant event in 2001. With the benefit of his unique perspective, his hindsight, Thomson must forge alliances with the people instrumental in establishing the life he remembers all the while facing down betrayal from within his own team. One question remains throughout the adventure, “Can you ever really trust yourself?”
