Born to a Croatian family in Culver City, Los Angeles, California, John showed passion for films and TV at an early age. By the age of 18, John enrolled in film school at the Columbia College of Hollywood and decided to move on to acting to learn to work with actors as a director and producer. He enrolled at the Lee Strasburg Theatre Institute in Los Angeles and moved on to work with actors and other producers. He enrolled at the University of La Verne in La Verne California and earned a B.A. in political science and economics. He is currently working on a film in development called Awakening.
