About Mateo

I am one-half of the group TKU, aka Tecamachalco Underground, with Cesar Gallegos. We accept commissions to provide scores for plays, series and films. We can also create music installations tailored to the needs of art galleries and the artist whose work is being exhibited.

TKU has composed full-season scores for web-series such as "The House Between" (seasons 1-3) and "Millennium Apocalypse Season Two: The Dark Inside You" (Award Winner/2012 L.A. Web Series Festival). In 2012, we scored the play "Soldaderas" written by Ruben Amavizca-Murua (Grupo de Teatro SINERGIA/Frida Kahlo Theater) and were commissioned to provide the score for a motion-comic video for Dark Horse Comics. I am also a founding member of the musical group Angels May Prevail (with Rupert Booth and Duncan Williams), whose first album, Fixed Hour, will be released in fall 2013
