SYNOPSIS:

The Donkeys Never Stepped on Me is the story of a black man raised in the Jim Crow south. He not only felt the sting of racial prejudice but, as a Vietnam veteran, went on to battle the demons of PTSD. The struggle to wake up each day had just about taken its full toll when a little girl fighting cancer found him and taught him how to catch a dream.
