SYNOPSIS:

The Cat Leigh and Marci Welles tv crime series is based on the novels of the same name. The Ribbon Rapist is the first episode and introduces Cat and Marci, two homicide detectives with the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office. When a twenty something female is found mutilated and raped, no one suspects she is the first in what the newspapers will soon call The Ribbon Rapist murders. Although death is by strangulation, from the way the blood pools, the medical examiner surmises that after ejaculating, the killer lifts his victims into a sitting position and holds them upright while he combs their hair into ponytails and ties them with different colored ribbons.
