SYNOPSIS:

In the wicked city of Boston, Massachusetts, nighttime behavior is as destructible as a gun firing a bullet. WALTER LANGE knows the scenario too well, as he relishes in the fact of being one of the city’s top prosecuting attorneys to deal with criminals. But, on a casual morning meet up with the district attorney, Walter is handed a case from the past that surrounds the death of a recent, fellow female attorney. But, Walter recognizes a familiar name linked to the murder; KELLY LANGE, his brother who has made such a living as a career criminal, as he calls and agrees to meet with Kelly at his club in town, and upon his arrival and with an unpretentious attitude, Walter details the murdered attorney and that Kelly is not to do anything until he clears the situation. Kelly meets up with one of the most feared criminals in the city and is called in for a job to put a bullet into the governor’s head. Without hesitation, Kelly agrees to the payment and the job. Weary of the situation, Kelly meets up with CATHERINE PETERSON, a detective whom had been ‘working’ with Kelly to administer the death of the female attorney. Walter and Kelly meet up and talk, and then discuss the drive to BLACKMAN COUNTY, the deserted setting for the two most recent murders that have Kelly’s name stamped all over it. But, after a bitter conflict with a local convict and the governor’s top aide, the two brothers rush out of the dimly inhabited area, and even in the crossfire of gunshots, the confrontation lands Walter in the local hospital. But, after his hospital release, Kelly and Walter arrive at Walter’s house and exchange their own personal war of words, which land the brothers from a bludgeoning fist fight, to an unsettling rest in the local police station. While during a search at Kelly’s residence, Catherine and Roberta make a disturbing find; a detailed diary of his parent’s death. While Kelly sits taken to court for his parent’s murders. In the police station evidence department, an unknown individual patrols the area, searching for the diary, the one item that will put Kelly Lange in jail. And, after some small bit of time, the person finds the diary, replaces it with a similar but fake detailed book of Walter and Kelly’s parents’ murder. In the courtroom session, the governor is called to the stand to give her testimony. But, when presented with the diary, it shows that both she and Catherine are implicated in the death of Walter and Kelly’s parents. During a sudden eruption from the news, Catherine grabs the guard’s gun, and fires two shots that kill Walter’s wife and his brother Kelly. But, Roberta draws her gun and shoots and kills Catherine. Days following the court appearance, Walter meets up with an unknown individual, and then sees the fact that Kelly survived the shooting in the courthouse. As they sit and discuss the plot they had devised against the city, Walter and Kelly sit and talk about how they planned out their parent’s death for their insurance policy, and then plan out their next big scheme.
