Lost in the desperate world of music piracy, an American C&W singer currently at the top of the charts goes to Shenyang to retrieve a stolen master disc. He joins forces with a beautiful woman and is pulled between finding the disc and romancing the woman as she struggles to find her place between her traditional Chinese upbringing and life as a modern Chinese woman.

SYNOPSIS:

The Tucson Knights, a country and western band based in Tucson, Arizona, is about to hit the big time with a record climbing the charts when they learn that the master disc of their new album has been stolen and taken to a producer in Shenyang, China by a trusted member of their band. Their lead singer, BILLY JOE HARDEN, aged 28 and a bit of a hothead, storms off and flies to China to retrieve the master CD which is now in the hands of a shady character named FENG ZHEN who plans to make his own version of the album with some dishonest relatives of one of the Tucson Knights members.

TOMMY LAND, aged 26 and the protagonist of the story, flies to Shenyang, Billy Joe’s last known location, to try to find him, retrieve the stolen disc, and bring them back to the USA. Tommy begins prowling the night clubs and music venues to ask questions and soon attracts the attention of some of the thieves who knew him in Tucson.

Tommy looks up LIAO JING, the cousin of another of his band-mates who joins him in his search. Liao Jing is a beautiful woman with long black hair and black eyes, the most kissable lips Tommy has ever seen, and a figure that many women would kill for. Tommy soon learns that Liao Jing is tough as nails and not above bending the rules to achieve her goals, which primarily involves finding cheating husbands. Tracking down a lost western man in the heart of one of China’s largest cities is a unique challenge for her and she agrees to help Tommy in his quest to track down Billy Joe who she believes might be hiding at her father’s hog farm outside the city.

Tommy and Liao Jing are soon inseparable and the naïve guitar picker from Tucson quickly learns that Chinese women are clingy and jealous, to put it mildly, and if he’s not careful ~ but maybe he doesn’t want to be careful ~ he’ll quickly end up engaged to marry Liao Jing. Liao Jing portrays herself to everyone as a traditional Chinese woman, but she is also a modern Chinese woman in many ways and that creates never ending conflicts within her. She fights a personal struggle between her traditional values and being a modern Chinese woman that maybe only Tommy can resolve.

They begin their search for Billy Joe and soon find him in the night club district where they are immediately found by the gang of pirates. After a confrontation with FENG ZHEN and the gang members, two of whom it seems are cousins to Liao Jing, the animosity grows.

The cousins, HANJING CHAO, aged 19, and WU MING, aged 23, forget that Liao Jing is a modern Chinese woman and not a frail, subservient and traditional China Doll. They think of her as a stupid Chinese woman who is incapable of intelligent thought. They get into a brawl in the nightclub owned by Feng Zhen and the fight shows everyone that Liao Jing is a Kung Fu master, among her many other talents.

Then the chase is on. Billy Joe, Liao Jing and Tommy are chased by the pirates through the crowded streets of Shenyang that involve some of the finest driving skills anyone in the city has ever witnessed. Liao Jing’s driving would be the envy of any NASCAR driver. The chase is reminiscent of the chase scene in “Horrible Bosses 2” as Liao Jing makes fools of the police and the pirate gang's drivers.

Billy Joe is eventually chased into a high-rise building under construction where he is cornered and has no choice but to jump from a 6th floor opening to join Tommy and Liao Jing on the ground and head back to her father’s hog farm in the hope that the band will not be able to find them there.

Liao Jing is wrong and within hours the band members are at the farm and the fight of the century is on as a band member throws Liao Jing down the hill and into a hog wallow which causes her father and his farmhands to join in the melee. All the participants are eventually knocked down the hill and into the hog wallow (much to the surprise and amusement of the hogs) in a scene that is reminiscent of the mudslide scene in John Wayne’s “McLintock”.

All is well as the story ends with Liao Jing asking permission from her father to marry Tommy, a foreigner who quickly earns the admiration and approval of her parents.

Tommy and Liao Jing see Billy Joe off at Shenyang Taoxian International Airport as he still clutches the lost Master CD. Liao Jing and Tommy Land then take a romantic walk along the Hunhe River near Bird Island and into the hearts of her family.

他们开始寻找比利·乔·很快发现他在夜总会小区里，他们立即被海盗团伙发现。与冯甄和团伙成员，两个人似乎是表兄妹，以廖绩嗯对抗后，仇视增长。

堂兄弟，涵超，19岁，和吴铭，23岁，忘记廖静是一个现代化的中国女人，而不是一个体弱，屈从和传统的中国娃娃。他们认为她是一个愚蠢的中国女子是谁不能智能化思想。他们进入斗殴由丰辙嗯拥有的夜总会和战斗表明每个人廖静是一个功夫高手，在她的许多其他优秀人才。

廖基嗯是错误的，小时之内，乐队成员都在农场和本世纪的斗争是在为乐队成员抛出廖绩嗯下山成猪打滚，导致她的父亲和他的农场工人加入混战。所有的参与者，最终撞倒山，进入猪打滚（多以惊喜和猪的游）的场景让人想起了泥石流现场，约翰·韦恩的“麦克林托克”的。

一切都很好的故事，廖绩嗯要求允许从她的父亲嫁给汤米，外国人谁迅速赢得了钦佩和她的父母同意结束。

汤米和廖绩嗯看比利·乔·关在沉阳桃仙国际机场，他仍然要抓住失去了主CD。廖基嗯和Tommy土地，然后沿着浑河附近的鸟岛，进入她的家人心中浪漫的步行路程。
