Leanna Bonamici

Leanna Bonamici – an innovative Creator/Producer/Director and Writer of several television series and various corporate projects and as such, lead the Content and Creative teams and focus of CV Studios Entertainment, Inc.. Having been a producer, director, creator and sound stage owner for over 15 years, she has produced numerous documentary-style videos for clients, several other proprietary television shows - based on restaurants, travel and cooking, a feature film, a documentary and is the Creator and Producer of the Shorts Showcase television program, (66 half-hour episodes completed to date) which aired on PBS station KVCR throughout Southern California from 2011 - 2016, and will begin again airing in 4th Quarter 2019.

Shorts Showcase is an online, mobile and broadcast television Film Festival - providing 'life after festival' for filmmakers of short films.

Under the Bonamici Productions banner, she is also the Producer and Co-Creator of her newest show “Wine Country Cruizin’”, currently in pre-production. Prior to this, she spent ten years in the wine and spirits industry as a Buyer, Consultant and Educator and has since created the Wine Country Cruizin’ television series and the accompanying mobile app (in development) for revolutionizing information to enthusiasts in the wine, spirits and craft brew industries.

She is also the Founder and current President of Palm Springs Women in Film and Television, and now sits on the Board of Women in Film and Television International. In 2009, she was awarded the ATHENA Award for Professional Excellence from the City of Indian Wells and the Women of Distinction Award from the National League of American Pen Women.

Leanna received her Certificate of Completion from UCLA Extension in Film, Television and New Media Production in 1998.
