I am a director, film-maker and video artist, working across documentary, installation and film in live performance. I draw inspiration from work that surprises and creates unexpected connections, that celebrates the outdoors and reclaims social space, that throws a curveball and takes a sideways look at the world.
My documentary work centres on universal human subject matters that capture the beauty and quirkiness of life today. My installation and live work focuses on exploring magical ways to bring performance and video together in one holistic space.
My work has been profiled internationally on television, in galleries, as part of site specific installations, and integrated into live performances such as opera, contemporary dance and pop concerts.
Recent commissions include projects with the Philharmonia Orchestra, San Francisco Symphony Orchestra, Miami New World Symphony Orchestra, Akram Khan, Nitin Sawhney, Cirque du Soleil, Ben Okri, Esa Pekka Solomen, Michael Tilson Thomas, Matthew Herbert, Ludovico Einaudi, George Fenton, Madness, British Council, Royal Opera House, BBC and Channel 4.
Based in London, I am also founder and creative director of digital media company Yeast Culture.
