SYNOPSIS:

Part one of a trilogy. Earth is an incubator for intelligent life with the ultimate destiny for humans to colonize the Milky Way Galaxy. Anu, the legendary Sky God, altered the DNA of our hominid ancestors nine million years ago with the goal of propagating our species. A cryptogram, spliced into our genome, was intended for our tech-savvy descendants to eventually decode a crucial message concerning mankind's future. 2063: ILDIKÓ VARGA, Molecular Biologist, traces her genealogy through the human family tree and finds a cryptogram in her DNA but she cannot decipher the message. MADISON NICHOLSON, Anthropologist, finds the cipher in an ancient bronze plate from Mesopotamia and now she is on a quest to find people with coded DNAs. ANTONY ERDEI, Astro-Biologist, is frustrated knowing that our days on Earth are numbered but habitable planets are beyond our reach. He is not aware that the answer is closer than he thinks. GLEN STEVENSON, Theoretical Physicist, proves that our known Universe exists in a plethora of “dark” universes and we can instantly step into parallel worlds using quantum physics. For this group of scientists, unlocking the secrets of the cryptogram becomes urgent and personal but a fanatic Muslim organization considers the project blasphemous and a sinister plot is executed against them with vengeance. The scientists break the code and see a dire warning! Human history is filled with hatred and mayhem over ideology and this eternal conflict between science and religion must be resolved before we are allowed to populate the stars. Our future depends on living as one species on one planet with respect for all life but time is running out. Earth is getting hotter. Global wars escalate. Toxic waste and nuclear radiation accumulates at an alarming rate. Humanity continues to spiral down in the fog of ignorance because many still believe in divine intervention. Our days are numbered. Evolution must be put on steroids through genetic engineering, if we are to survive. 2066: Glen and Madison break the code and quantum physics allows Ildikó and Antony take the ultimate journey to an augmented reality in the twelfth dimension. Their total physical and mental makeup is reduced to a binary data set and virtual clones are instantly transmitted via quantum entanglement to a parallel universe in the twelfth dimension where Anu is waiting. Anu reveals that since the beginning of time, advanced beings invented deities to cope with evolution but eventually realized that, “intelligence is inversely proportional to faith”. All civilizations that trusted imaginary deities eventually self-destructed. The crucial secret is that all knowledge of the cosmos is stored in a quantum state for eternity. Humanity’s contribution may be small but important. Will the hint of immortality in a quantum data base appease religious fanatics and allow science to be the arbitrator of reality? Or, is our species doomed? Filled with the awe-inspiring awareness of human responsibility, Ildikó and Antony transition back to their earth-bound bodies knowing what must be done.
