By Greg Rempel

GENRE: Comedy, Romance
LOGLINE:

The girl of his dreams is back in the arms of a royal douche bag, he's just been fired from his job, and is now the target of two assassins, and to top it off, he's turning into a squirrel. What a week! (This is NOT a Disney, family genre comedy.)

SYNOPSIS:

Reggie Gray is an introverted accountant who works for a major financial firm. Though his nose is buried deep in the company's financial records, his eyes are glued to his beautiful co-worker, Cassidy Morris. "Chatter" begins the day Reggie discovers an irregularity in the company's bookkeeping, and points it out to his boss. Reggie's boss assures him that what he thinks he's uncovered is merely a clerical error. Realizing that Reggie is on to the scam, Reggie's boss dispatches hitmen to dispose of the meddlesome accountant. During a violent lightning storm, Reggie is assaulted, buried in a pit and left for dead. A bolt of lightning strikes a metal birdfeeder and, in true Frankenstein fashion, the electrical charge is conducted down the metal pole, through the saturated ground and into the buried man. Reggie escapes and gradually comes to realize that he is assuming the characteristics of a rodent. He discovers that he has an insatiable appetite for nuts. What's more, Regggie is suddenly an excellent climber with incredible balance. Though his front teeth are growing longer and his fingernails and toenails have become dense and sharp, fortunately, there is no sign that Reggie is about to sprout a tail. What begins as the worst possible super hero - a Squirrel Man - turns out to provide Reggie with the "super powers" he needs to stay one step ahead of the assassins and his crooked employers. Reggie believes that every rodent has his day and his is long overdue.
