Lesa Babb is a writer and producer based in Chapel Hill. She works in media and marketing.
Lesa's first industry job was NonFiction Spots. Her career began in the documentary arts, under the tutelage of Oscar-winning filmmaker Randolph Benson.
Today she is a principal at Blinc Media where she produces narrative and un-scripted content for screens of all sizes.
Unique traits: "I write love stories. The subject is timeless." In addition to writing for the stage and screen, Lesa is also an award-winning speechwriter and a licensed optician. She has worked with teens, tweens, the elderly and all ages in between with low vision characteristics. As a writer, she is a go-to for character development; notably, characters with limited visual capacity or so-called 'blindness" (The technical term for which is "NLP", or "No Light Perception"). Lesa writes about elite performers and other outsiders. Think: Roles Steve McQueen might have liked.
