Born near Manchester, UK Rick moved to London in 2009 to train at the London School of Musical Theatre. Prior to this he studied a degree in Music and Theatre and sung with the Hallé Choir at many venues including the Royal Albert Hall, London.
He was trained by the West Ends Directors, Musical Directors and performers in various masterclasses, and is currently performing on tour with 'A Spectacular Night
of Queen' across Europe. He also sings in a male quartet called Troubadour who recently opened for Rose Royce at a motown festival and regularly perform on five star cruise ships .
Ricks skill Base was built in restaurants, where he trained as a manager alongside his studies, and these skills were honed in event management around London with brands such as Sky, Coca Cola, The Isle of Wight Festival and Davidstow. It was here that he first met the man who would recommend him to the role of 2nd AD in a short he was filming, which would later lead to AD in another. Still learning, but learning fast in this area.
