About Virginia

Virginia Travers is a third generation San Franciscan. She grew up in Marin County and Great Britain. In 1982 Virginia moved to Spain's Costa del Sol where she opened her own art gallery and taught drama at the local rural High School.

Upon returning to the US, she got her first job in film working as Macaulay Culkin's double and she joined the Screen Actors Guild. During the late 1990's Virginia doubled for just about all of the child actors in films throughout the Bay Area including "Jack", directed by Francis Ford Coppola.

In 2001 Virginia started Lunaventure, a production and management company specializing in development. With a slump in film production in the Bay Area, in 2002 Virginia started a film networking group in San Rafael called "FILM", which showcased local filmmakers at monthly meetings . Her current credits include Les Amerique dans tous ses Etats, Kite Runner, Blue Jasmine, (Woody Allen) and Big Eyes.
