About Melissa

Born in the suburbs of Philadelphia to an artistic family, Melissa O’Donnell inherited the acting gene from her grandmother Gabrielle Sisca, whom was an actress herself. She landed her first lead role at the age of 3; the youngest in the play and a female Santa Claus! At the age of 6 with the encouragement of her first grade teacher, she began writing scripts and putting on her own productions; setting her own stage, and making wardrobes from her Mom-Mom O'Donnell's old linens. Most of her life, Melissa pursued academia with an interest in human behavior. She graduated LaSalle University with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, focusing on personality development and deviance. Feeling incredibly unfulfilled, Melissa returned to the world of acting doing various background work to get a feel for film sets. She continued to harness her love for acting and telling stories through film over the years, and has since portrayed various principal and lead roles displaying her vast range in over 40 independent and studio projects in less than 5 years.
