About Tatiana
Tatiana Mikova is a film score composer and orchestrator/arranger with wide range of instrumentation (orchestral, world, electronic, ethno/rock) who has written music for motion pictures and television films/series, as well as contemporary classical music works. She has been involved in film industry since 2003. She is based in London, UK. Tatiana has received Master degree with disctinction in Music Composition (Composition for Film and TV) from the University of West London (London College of Music). She also studied Instrumental Composition at Oxford University/OUDCE and classical music composition and instrumentation with Milan Jira (prof. at Prague Conservatory), 15 years.

Incorrigible, The Forest of the Dead, Bathory: Countes of Blood (with Franco Nerro, Anna Friel), Trabant Goes to Africa, Trabant on the Silk Road, Trabant Goes to South America, Trabant Goes to the End of the World, The Treasure of Anna Hawkins, or short films: Herself, The Christmas Sneeze, Escape Town, Hope, Ctibor and Mr. Sadilek, The Final Straw, Tempter, Intermezzo, as well as music orchestration/arrangement for feature films: May and Magical Duvet.
Tatiana orchestrate/arrange film scores myself and occasionally orchestrates other composers’ works.
Besides film scoring, she also composes CLASSICAL MUSIC:
She has written orchestral works (Symphony No.1, Impressions of Nature, Concerto Grosso, Fantasia for Piano and Symphony Orchestra, Overture - commissioned and world premiered/TV-broadcast by Minnesota Sinfonia/USA, etc.) as well as a number of works for chamber ensembles or solo instruments (La Défleurie, Two Nonets, String Quartet, etc).
Her two compositions for nonet (Fantasia for Moravian Themes, Spanish Serenade) performed by famous ensemble The Czech Nonet have been radio-broadcast by American Public Media, as a part of the most-listened-to classical music radio program Performance Today, and also broadcast by other radio stations worldwide.
